History: Chrno's mother was a witch working for the Ministry in a very unorthodox project studying dragons. They were using many new and untested techniques, and it appeared to have some effect on the child she was carrying in her womb.

It was obvious from when he was first born that there was something strange about him, bright violet hair and crimson eyes weren't natural- even for a wizard. It appeared as though some how he had taken in dragon like qualities due to his mother's exposure to dragon blood under magical conditions. Shocked and horrified, his mother quickly gave him up for adoption. And he was taken in, but not by the best party.

His adoptive father, Aion, was the head of a group called 'The Sinners'. They were secretly working on plans to achieve 'true freedom', destroying all forms of government and power in the process. They had taken Chrno in for the sole reason of his apparent hybrid status. Over time they discovered that he had many unusual abilities, including the fact that when extremely angered he went into a kind of 'beserker' mode.

Despite the odd environment, Chrno had a reasonable upbringing. The members of The Sinners, though none of them parents, all tried to take care of him the best they could.

When he was about eight the group kidnapped the renowned seer, Mary Magdalene, to assist them in accomplishing their dream. Magdalene seemed to be completely unfazed by the kidnapping, and did her best to fit in. In the time she was there, the prophetess grew very close to Chrno. She was like a big sister, or even a surrogate mother to the boy.

Eventually, Aion decided that they had no more use for Magdalene, promptly killing her off. Seeing what had happened, Chrno fled from the groups secret liar and eventually wound up in a wizarding orphanage. There he became very close friends with the Christopher siblings, and eventually accompanied them to Hogwarts.

Personality: Chrno is an odd person. He tends to be rather quiet most of the time, though around people he knows he opens up much more. He'd do anything and everything for his friends, especially to keep them safe. He really hates to displease his friends as well, and tries his best to keep them happy; even when he himself is not feeling well. The one problem he has is with his temper; when extremely angered he usually turns into his true form. If something extreme ever happened he would be likely to go on a rampage; becoming an uncontrolable beast. He is also very ashamed of his past, and has managed to keep just about all information on his background hidden from other students. Still, most of the time he comes off as a very caring, and slightly protective wizard.
